Hello Tim I took my definition from Liddell-Scott-Jones. I like having the Classical understanding. It gives some depth to Koine. The editors acknowledge and insert NT examples. An added benefit is that it's on the web. I like my "Little Kittel" as well, but I don't always have it handy. Steve |

Greetings Steve! I know what you mean! :-) My father-in-law recently retired from the minsitry and I inherited his full set (all 9 volumes) of Kittel's - my dream come true! ;-) I don't have Liddell-Scott-Jones (what is the web address?), though I do have: A.T. Robertson's Word Pictures. A.T. Robertson's Long Grammar (which deals alot with the classical Greek). BAG's Greek English Lexicon of the New Testament. Along with assorted other works, of course! But, these are the ones I use most. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
