You wrote: "As the world of science teaches, for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction. Though this is in referance to the natural world, the same holds true for the spiritual realm. For sin there is atonement. For Heaven (an eternity with God) there is Hell (eternity with out God). For faith we have fear." Not one of these is an example of the scientific principle that you mention. Hell is not a necessary reaction to heaven. Atonement is not a necessary reaction to sin (just ask those in hell whose sins are not atoned for). And fear is not a necessary reaction to faith. You also wrote: "Faith activates God, however fear activates the devil." The creation "activates" the Creator? And all along I though He was in charge! The Bible tells us that you are wrong about us "activating" God: 'Why should the nations say, "Where, now, is their God?" But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.' --Psalm 115:2-3 Job himself understood this as well, while God is giving him a little four-chapter lesson on Who is in charge (Job 38-41): "Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to You? I lay my hand on my mouth."--Job 40:4 Wouldn't it be nice if we often laid our hands on our own mouths? We activate God?!? I fear Him far to much to ever think such an insolent thing. You also wrote: "The other fact that people miss is that God didn't CAUSE Job to suffer, he ALLOWED it." I don't think anyone has said anything to the contrary. "If we keep reading you'll see that it was during one of his sons' feasts that messengers came telling Job of what was happening to him. Why is this? Because that was when Job was afraid." What verse shows us that Job was afraid? Methinks you are making stuff up. "Fear gives Satan the legal right to carry out the acts which you are afraid of just like faith gives God the right to carry out what we have faith for." Please show us the verse which says that fear gives Satan a legal right to do something. And then repent for insisting that human beings EVER have the power to give or withhold rights from the omnipotent, holy, sovereign Creator God of the universe. He is the one who owns everything, and any attempt or declaration to be God's god will be met with nothing but His just wrath. The fact that someone can call oneself a Christian and at the same time claim to have control over God is a clear sign of why reformation is so desperately needed in the 21st-century church. --Joe! |

2 | No Joyce Meyer?????????????????? | Acts 17:11 | Jesified | 72099 | ||
His sons used to take turns holding feasts in their homes, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. 5 When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would send and have them purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, "Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts." This was Job's regular custom. Job didn't have any proof that his children did anything wrong. Although it doesn't use the word feared or afraid, what Job felt is obvious. Job is the personification of both goodie-two-shoes and worry wart. I encourage you to look up different translations of these verses. The Bible says that Job offered these sacrifices continally. It also points out that Job immediately had them purified the after the party and he offered the sacrifices the next morning. The Contemporary English Version seems to state it very well. "Job's sons took turns having feasts in their homes, and they always invited their three sisters to join in the eating and drinking. After each feast, Job would send for his children and perform a ceremony, as a way of asking God to forgive them of any wrongs they may have done. He would get up early the next morning and offer a sacrifice for each of them, just in case they had sinned or silently cursed God." Jesified |

Jesified If I understand you correctly your saying Job opened the door for Satan to move through by worrying about his children. Isn’t giving Satan a hold in your life sin? Yet scripture records God said Job did not sin nor did commit any evil. Job 1:8 The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil." Job 1:22 Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God. Job 2:3 The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man fearing God and turning away from evil. And he still holds fast his integrity, although you incited Me against him to ruin him without cause." Job 2:10 … In all this Job did not sin with his lips. Job was attacked for the reason given in scripture, to prove to Satan, all of heaven and now us, since we were given a record of it, that Job loved God not because of what God have given him but because he was God. This is the lesson, whether we are rich or poor, healthy of sick God is to be loved because He is God not because of what he has done or might do for us in the future. You also used a term legal in that Satan had a legal right. Satan has no more or less right than what God allows him to have, there is no celestial supreme court to judge or rule on any legal rights. If God told Satan to go clean the barn Satan would have to do it. Notice how Satan appeared before God in heaven and how he answered God’s questions. There is no doubt God is the one in control. Notice also God gave Satan the limits to which he could afflict Job and his family. By the way I saw you mention your Pentecostal and/or Full Gospel. There is distinct differences in what your posting here and what is authentic Pentecostalism or even Full Gospel. What you touting here and the people you quote are better described as Word of Faith. Word of Faith teaches God has to respond to our faith. It is an attempt to manipulate God. Word of Faith is best described as having faith in faith. For your own knowledge Word of Faith is in opposition with true Christianity in that is paints a totally incorrect picture of God, God's sovereignty and man’s positional relationship with God through faith, therefore it is considered a cult. I didn't say Job gave Satan a foot hold. Faith is not manipulating God. God looks at the heart. He knows what's realy driving us and if we're not seeking Him or His blessings with the right heart then we would never receive the blessing. My mistake, I thought that Full Gospel meant that you believed the whole Gospel. If I'm Word of Faith, then I'm Word of Faith. I don't much care what I'm branded with. I know that Jesus died for my complete redemption. There is no denomination in Heaven, only His Church. By the way, if you'd like a schedule of our Kool Aid on the mountain services I'll e-mail it to you. Jesified |

Jesified Your right faith is not manipulating God. Manipulating God is when you say because you have faith God has to do it. God only does what serves His pleasure. Full gospel does mean believing the the whole Gospel. It does not mean beleiving what others have added or claim it says. Word of Faith is not a denomination it is a false teaching. And your right it won't be in heaven. EdB |
