1 | Praying for the 'World'. | Matt 5:44 | DocTrinsograce | 163844
PS Brother Tim, verse 16 does, actually, mention the unlearned. :-) However, for the edification of our readers, I will mention that I have found at least one Godly man of note who uses 2 Peter 3:9 -- although without explanation -- the way you do: John Wesley. That should be an encouragement in the light of so many other Godly men of note who have interpreted it differently.
2 | Praying for the 'World'. | Matt 5:44 | Morant61 | 163846
Greetings Doc! I'll deal with the p.s. first since it is shorter! ;-) There are far more than just Wesley and I who understand this verse in this manner! But, he is excellent company! ;-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

4 | Praying for the 'World'. | Matt 5:44 | Morant61 | 163855
Greetings Doc! You are joking? Right? Find any commentary that is not written by a Calvinist and you will see my view represented. :-) Besides, what does dualing quotes accomplish? The text quite plainly says what it says. ;-) I don't need a commentator to explain to me that 'all' means 'all'. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
