1 | WHAT WAS JESUS ATTITUDE | Matt 5:17 | Searcher56 | 22116
Scripture ... Matthew 5:17-18 ... Restatement There, first we divide the Law into two, three or more groups. The Bible just calls it the Law. Second, Ginomai is the word for fulfilled, in verse 18, which is not the same as the word (pleroo) in verse 17. In verse 17, He was bringing deeper meaning to the Law and in verse 18, He is saying the Law will continue until heaven and earth pass away and all is fufilled ... there is no pronoun. Do we agree? 2 | Did Christ fulfill the law - yes or no? | Matt 5:17 | kalos | 22132
Searcher56: Just a reminder. Earlier I asked you a question. "Are you saying that Christ did not fulfill the law?" This is a direct question which can be answered with a simple Yes or No. Are you or are you not saying that Christ did not fulfill the law? I merely desire that you clarify your previous posting. Thank you. |

3 | Did Christ fulfill the law - yes or no? | Matt 5:17 | jlpangilinan | 22157
Kalos, I read two of your question to Searcher56, and it seems that he/she still would want to answer it directly. Some members also commenting in to it. In my own opinion, Yes! Christ did fulfill the law becuase he said it in that particular verse. And we know that He is not imprudent to say it and yet not fulfilling it. Thank you, Johnny |
