1 | If we ask for healing does God answer no | 1 Peter | BradK | 146424
Mitch, I appreciate the sentiments. However, I'm not sure how you arrived at the mistaken conclusion that I'm somehow in bondage? I'm not! I was simply using her death as an EXAMPLE that it is not always Gods' will to heal us. Mitch, scripture nowhere tells us to "claim our healing". We're going to have to disagree on this matter:-) BradK |

I use the phrase that you are in bondage, because you are allowing the lie that God has no intention of healing his children. Jesus said the Word will set you free, and if you can get ahold of the Word that heals, (he sent his Word and healed them) then you will be free in that area of your life. I understand you were using death as an example, however we can't base our belief on the Bible based on a person's lifestyle, otherwise everyone who said Christian's were nuts because a few so called Christians killed abortion doctors, would be valid in their assessment. Scripture might not use the exact words 'claim our healing' however Jesus was very specific when he told us that If we say unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in our heart, those things we say shall come to pass. Thats him telling us to speak to it, in other words, to claim it. Mitch |

Do you really understand Mark 11:12-26 in the context of the passage as well as asking God for something? Read Matthew 6:5-15 - whose will is it?

Yes I fully understand the passage you referred to in Mark, and if you understood it as well, you'd know my words are Truth. Also, in Matthew, the will is of course, God's will. I'm not sure where you are going with that question. So I'll just answer it, and leave it there. Mitch |
