1 | If we ask for healing does God answer no | 1 Peter | cody | 39250
No the verse does not say by His strips our sins are forgiven. It says he was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities it was the wounding and bruising not the stripes. The work God did for us on that cross was a total and complete work. Not a partial work and I believe the more I study God's word it would be a slap in God's face not to receive all He wants for us. I can not and will not refuse such a precious gift. In James it says let not a double minded man think he will receive anything from God and say yes and no is double minded. I don't believe God is double minded. Jesus said a house divided against itself will fail. Praise God! I'm not confused anymore God has done a complete and total healing spirit, soul, and body. Jesus also prayed Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Is there sickness in heaven? No!

Is there death in heaven? No! What did God tell us to do when we (The saved) or sick? Did he say, ask him? No. You are applying the wrong meaning to "Thy Will" as it is used in this text means His "Laws." Not that the earth should be "like heaven." There is a sickness unto death. And there is a sickness not unto death.
