1 | If we ask for healing does God answer no | 1 Peter | Morant61 | 146763 | ||
Greetings Mitch! Certainly, forgiveness of sins is not received until one accepts Christ. However, if 'healing' is just as much a part of the atonement as forgiveness of sins, then it should also be received at the moment of salvation. According to your understanding of the atonement, I 'have been' healed by His stripes, not 'I will be healed'. :-) As to your last point my friend, however you slice it, death is God's enemy. :-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Paul wrote in Romans chapter 10 that they can not believe in whom they have not heard, and they can not believe in him unless they it be preached to them. YOu can not recieve the forgiveness of sins, unless you hear about the forgiveness of sins. And you will not always recieve healing of your body untill it is preached to you, and you hear the Word concering it, then you can allow your faith to work with God, and recieve from him. I have never seen, but I have heard that some people have been healed when they confess their sins, and recieve the forgiveness of sins. But what I'm saying, is most people won't recieve healing at the same time as salvation, because as Paul wrote, how can they believe it, unless its taught to them? Thats why I'm here speaking it now, because I want people to be able to recieve healing from God. Hope that helps, Mitch |
