1 | Can we agree? | Hebrews | Kelkat | 17928
I have never, and will never state that God is puny, or in any way not all powerful. If you understood me to say that God (all-knowing and all-seeing) had been "tricked", then you misunderstood or I misspoke. Kelkat |

Kelkat I don't beleive I said you did anything, did I? I said the teaching of these individuals paint is a picture of a god that is very puny. Is that not what I said? I will take the blame for a lot of things and probably rightfully so but please don't add to the list things I never did. :-) EdB |

3 | Can we agree? | Hebrews | Kelkat | 17976
Sorry, didn't mean to seem like I was jumping. I don't think that they "teach" that God is puny or was tricked. Just the opposite, I think they teach that He is all powerful, and all knowing. Just the way I see it. :) right back at ya. Kelkat |

4 | Can we agree? | Hebrews | EdB | 17979
Kelkat If you believe God has to do something just because you believe it and put your faith in it, what are you doing but making God puny. You sure can't be saying He is sovereign. That is exactly what these individuals teach, God has to do it if you put you faith in it. Now they couch their words very carefully to say if God said He’ll do it. However if you carefully examine their exegesis you will see they pull everything out of context and once what they are really saying is boiled down your are left with “God has to do it if you believe it.” |

Okay, yes I believe God has to do everything that He said He would do. Not because I believe, but because He is who He is. He can not lie. So if He said it would, it will be. Why is that wrong? As for the whole CRI thing. I went surfing to find out who or what they were. That is when I found the statement from the founder's wife who said her husband had not hand picked anyone. It is also when I found the web site founded by his children. Kelkat |

Don't believe everything you read on the World Wide Web. I, too, went surfing for info on CRI. This is what I found: I have just come from checking out an anti-CRI/anti-Hannegraaff website. They have nothing good to say about CRI. They have leveled serious accusations against CRI in their many postings bashing the organization. Oh, I almost forgot to mention. The above anti-CRI website is also opposed to and strongly critical of the following: Benny Hinn; National Assoc. of Evangelicals; Tim and Beverly LaHaye; Larry Burkett; the Evangelical Free Church of America; Pat Robertson; D. James Kennedy; RC Sproul; Billy Graham; John MacArthur; Radio Bible Class and its principal publication "Our Daily Bread"; Campus Crusade for Christ; and Dr. James C. Dobson. Oh, yeah. They sound like a sane and sensible resource, don't they? (Go to www.rapidnet.com Then in the Search field type Biblical Discernment Ministries) |
