1 | Holy (GHOST) Received but not Realized? | Romans | PastorFloyd | 90264
No way can you receive the Holy Spirit and not know it. The answer is in the Scripture that states: "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find." Romans 8:26 states it plainly: 26. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. The Holy Spirit is behind those scriptures and if you have received the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues you will not wonder, you will know. |

2 | PastorFloyd, why do you twist Scripture | Romans | Searcher56 | 91827
PastorFloyd, why do you twist Scripture ... "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find." is found in Matthew 7:8. The context (vv 7-12), is not about spiritual gifts, but about "good gifts" ... illustrated by what we give our children. Matthew 7:7-12 is not related to Romans 8:26-27. The latter is not about speaking in tongues ... since "groanings which cannot be uttered" is done by the Holy Spirit and there is no speaking anyway. I suggest you step down as "Pastor" unless you are able to accept correction and change your view. Searcher |
