Searcher, Yes I am talking about Romans 8:26-27 And you are right again. I did not say that properly. It is the Spirit praying through us. Wow, you have helped me to think about that in a better way. Does the Holy Spirit pray *through* us? Whatever the answer may be, the Bible plainly says: "The Spirit Himself intercedes *for* us." (NASB, emphasis added) AMPLIFIED Romans 8:26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. |
