1 | Are we presenting the gospel scripturaly | John 1:12 | Morant61 | 172397 | ||
Greetings Mark! Well said my friend! I have always wondered if someone used the 'wrong' words in a prayer and asked Jesus into their heart, would God refuse to hear that prayer and insist that they get their terminology straight first. ;-) Excellent example from Luke 18:13 as well. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Thank you, Tim! I've always kinda figured that we're really not going to get the theology down pat 'til we have the Holy Spirit "in" us. Joel says that all who call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved, so I think an adequate "sinner's prayer" is simply "Jesus!" as we cast ourselves into His arms. Love in Christ, Mark |
