Bible Question: Okay I know that the way to become saved is to confess that Jesus died on the the cross to save us from our sins, and the bible may not say that "if we change our sinful ways we can be saved", but it does say that the wages of sin is death. I guess what I am asking is: If someone says they don't want to become saved because they know they are going to keep doing the things they are doing now, are they according to 1 Corinthians 5:1-13 correct in thinking that they will just be cast right back out as a hypocrite? |
Bible Answer: yes but just like in corinthians you are given a time to repent it takes a person being drawn by the spirit of god and after a few months or in some cases even a year and they continue to willfully sin we must realize they don't want to change and that they must be excommunicated 2corinthians5:13 |
