Bible Question: 1 Corinthians chapter 5:9-15, I know this is dealing with a brother of the church who is being a hypocrite, but explain to me what the difference would be for those who refuse to become saved because they believe they will not (and some don't) change their sinful ways. |
Bible Answer: Hi Tron613 and welcome to the forum. The answer to your question resides in the last two verses that you mentioned; verses 14 and 15, just kidding, I Cor. 5: ends at verse 13. Where exactly is it found in Scripture that God tells us that we can be saved by changing our sinful ways? The following tells us that our ways bring about death but we need the Lord to be saved! People can change their ways, as it were, but what ever they try to do to improve will still lead to death! Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. I hope you enjoy the forum, CDBJ |
