Subject: Jesus name of the Father, Son and H/Ghos |
Bible Note: Is there any reference in the Bible to prove or give any valid support to Oneness Pentecostalism (Jesus is Father is Holy Spirit)? There is not a oneness verse in the entire bible a few times you'll have to go to the orginal language to see that. The United Pentecostals truly do not believe in oneness. They claim they do but they have such a hard time even coming close to proving it. My Grandfather in the 1930's Started the United Pentecostal Church where I am from. They consider him the father of the oneness moment. Anyway he went looking for a church a few years latter where my family and I were living at the time. My dad told him to go to this pentecostal church (Who weren't oneness) My dad didn't know they believed in the trinity at the time. My Grandfather went there and said he really liked it. After that he believed in the trinity. He died triniturian. Most of my relatives are still oneness but they can't strickly say why they are oneness and if you talk to them they will slip a few times Mentioning the Father and Jesus being distinct. Thats my experence with the "oneness" moment. In Christ, Darcy |
