Subject: Bible version can become an idol? |
Bible Note: I can only quote back to you the scriptures I've referring to all along and those are Heb 8 and Col 2:13-15. I realize the verses you're referring to above speak to the whole Bible but you haven't responded to these verses I've just cited so how do YOU reconcile these positions especially since they came from the same author, writer of these epistles? I would also cite John 12:47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. 49For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. and Matt 28:18. Like I've mentioned before, the best parts of the OT is repeated in the NT, but notice there are significant and large portions of the OT left out because they don't apply, i.e. Sabbath day and the generous handling of divorce to men from the OT. I'm also hoping to see your response to the rest of my post no 117575. I'd like to see what other Forum participants think about these subjects. God bless. --Rowdy |
