Subject: To obey or not to obey ! |
Bible Note: Qutoe"Sir, I will be brief. Is GOD's Sabbath Day (Sat) still binding on Christians or not? If not please give me the Bible scriptures that allows me to break it without commiting sin - 1 John 3:4. And if I do not have to keep the 4th Commandment then can I just as easily worship other gods, bow down to graven images, take the name of the LORD in vain, dishonor my Mother and Father, kill, commit adultery, steal, bear false witness, and covet? And if on the other hand the 10 Commandments are sill binding and in full force then why do you resist and teach against them?" As Christ go to cornfields and fluck corn with His desciple did He transgress the law and commiting sin? Christ gave us the example of how observe the sabbath with a deep meaning. He allows us to help in the day of sabbath He healed in the day of sabbath. When Jesus Christ gave us the two commandments, it is include the ten commandments. what is it in the law that you break when you love God with all your strenght soul might, what is it the law that you break when you love your neighboor as you love your self. So Christ by freeing from the law did not gave us the opportunity to break the law but instead make more responsible, not because someone will stone us to death if we break the law but because we do it out of love. In the ten commandments before you commit the sin for example, thou shalt not kill, if you do the killing and there are three witnessess that will point the suspect. But in the law of Christ He already forbid even the root and cause someone to kill. Mt 5:21 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: Mt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. The commandments of Christ is that delicate, you dont have to commit the actual action, but in your heart you already commiting against God. Mt 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. If your logic is that you have to hate paul when stated that we are not justified by law: Ac 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Aside from that the law was not given to you: De 5:3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. It gave specifically for them, it mentioned there "who are all of us here alive" it is given to thier parents, how about you. God bless, |
