Subject: LEFT BEHIND? |
Bible Note: Hello Justme, John 3:19-21 "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God." Rom 1:21 "For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened" The verses you cited do not address my primary concern, which is to reconcile 1 Cor 2:14 with salvation. On it's face it seems to say that the gospel (which must be spiritualy appraised) cannot be understood by spiritualy dead people. How has God provided salvation under these circumstances? I am asking for a sripturaly supported answer. Thanks, John |
