Subject: CHRIST IS jehovah |
Bible Note: It doesn't say "other" things. John makes it clear by affirming something ("Jesus made all things") and then denying its antithesis ("without him NOTHING has come into being that has come into being"). The inspired evangelist leaves no logical room for the placement of the word "other" in this verse. It simply is not there in the Greek text, and inserting it would make this verse completely nonsensical. Jesus is either God (not the Father) or a created being. John 1:1 affirms the former. John 1:3 denies the latter. Ergo, a Trinitarian understanding is required. --Joe! |
