Subject: Why would someone get rebaptised? |
Bible Note: Hello Joe, Just one more for you to think about. If we go along with this view of "original sin" and "total depravity" how would you explain how Noah found grace in eyes of the Lord? Please read on, Genesis 6 5Then the LORD[1] saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." 8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. Now from this we can see that every thought of every man was only evil continually. Then how is it that Noah was spared he and his family and all the rest if mankind destroyed? If he was depraved and full of sin from an infant how did he manage to find grace in the eyes of God who cannot even look at sin without being angered? Raven |
