Bible Note: Hi, Samantha... I've always cherished that passage. Boggles the mind actually! Yes, it is possible that angels sing. Still, imagine the possibility that singing is an attribute of our being that stems from His image! Furthermore, angels can never quite grasp redemption (1 Peter 1:12). God made no provision of redemption for the fallen angels, but brought immediate judgement upon them (2 Peter 2:4). As a consequence, the redeemed will make songs of praise to the glory of God unimaginable by such other beings. Nonetheless, it is, as we have said, speculative. Therefore, we can put little stock in such ideas. Where the Bible is silent, really, we must be also. Exciting, though, whatever awaits us! :-) In Him, Doc |
