Bible Answer: Hi, Samantha... What I meant is that the passages you offered are not conclusive in telling us that angels sing. We have made cultural assumptions about those verses that are not born out by the text itself. In addition, I cannot find any Scriptural evidence that angels sing at all. We find them learning, thinking, acting, obeying, speaking, praising, etc. But I do not find a single verse that actually records their having any musical ability at all. Just speculating here, but wouldn't it be awesome if singing were an activity reserved to the family of God alone? In Him, Doc |
