Bible Note: Truthfinder, About your last statement: "I honestly believe that if the Jewish scibes has not changed the original "inspired Scriptures" that this difference of thought would not be here between you and me." Are you saying that the not Christian jewish scribes changed the old testament scriptures so that YHWH was taken out? If this were so then we had no reliable manuscripts at the time of Christ's ministry. Why wouldn't Christ have corrected this alledged blunder? Why wouldn't the dead sea scrolls have shown this descrepancy? "I stress again the point that Jesus makes in verse 10, “I am in union with the Father”, not that he is the Father, Almighty God. 1 John 2:5 shows that we as mere men also can be in union with the Father by saying, . 5 But whoever does observe his word, truthfully in this [person] the love of God has been made perfect. By this we have the knowledge that we are in union with him." It is only possible for us to be in union with God if we confess Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. If Christ is not God to us, then we cannot have unity with the Father. Pastor Glenn |
