NASB | 1 John 3:24 The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 John 3:24 The one who habitually keeps His commandments [obeying His word and following His precepts, abides and] remains in Him, and He in him. By this we know and have the proof that He [really] abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us [as a gift]. |

Bible Note: 1. Batized, Batism come from the greek word baptidzo which means to emerse. You may look it up in any greek english dictionary. 2, Paul himself said I speak in tongues more than you all. 3. As belivers we are all emersed into the body of Christ regardless of our backgrounds when we come to accept Jesus Christ as our savior and Lord even pentecostals and non-pentecostals. Our love for one another is the evidence of our salvation. So we must learn to love even those we disagree with. 4. I see the book of acts as giving us a lot of information about the early church and love to see when the modern day church puts these things into action. A few of my best friends are baptist preachers and we have talked about these things and in the spirit of friendship have agreed that we are all believers in spite of our differences over things that are not nearly as important as do you know Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. We strive to make it difficult for anyone from our communities to die without first hearing a clear presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. More will be accomplished for the kingdom of God if we will keep that in focus and do less bickering about pet doctrines among ourselves |
