Bible Note: BradK, Just an observation: Heb 6:4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6if they fall away,[2] to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. Notice all of the “AND”s here. 1. those who were once enlightened AND 2. have tasted the heavenly gift AND 3. have become partakers of the Holy Spirit AND 4. have tasted the good word of God AND 5. the powers of the age to come Doesn’t this indicate a Christian that is very very close to God? It seems it would take a person with the mindset of Satan to turn back from that kind of relationship to God. God Bless, Pastor Glenn |
