Subject: Why can we not just be Christians? |
Bible Note: Hi, Ray! You've hit on another excellent (more outstanding) passage: Colossians 1:28! There is a goal for the Believer (as in the Old Testament) to be perfect/ed in Christ Jesus... as the Holy Spirit works everything for the edification of the Body... Believe in Christ, yes!... is is through Faith that we are brought into the fold... but as our temporal existence, our spiritual existence deepens and growth in the knowledge and existence of God... we are commanded by Paul to go past the initiation (preaching, believing, baptism) and to embrace all that is God (including abedience to His Will)! (1 Corinthians 13:11-12; Ephesians 4:30 thru 5:21; Hebrews 6:1-6). God Bless! Angel |
