Subject: wine and acohol |
Bible Note: I should have said "good or best” wine which is the new wine. The word used in the Acts 2:13 means new wine or fresh juice. But by nuance was also used to refer to alcoholic drink. Sort of like some one asking, “I have grape juice and wine which do you want?” The response being, “give me the good stuff.” I seriously question why everyone rushes to defend the ingestion of the excrement of sugar eating bacteria. It is beyond my imagination. It serves no purpose beyond vain argument and drinking of such surely doesn’t make this world a better place to live or brings any glory to God. It serves no purpose in our society and is in fact a determent to society accounting as the one of the highest takers of lives, the number one contributor to accidents, through the centuries it has destroyed lives and families and is abused by most that claim to have control over it. “I only drink a glass a night, and I can stop at any time, I just don’t want to.” Folks that is an alcoholic You say it is okay to drink fine how about you giving me your phone number and the next time I have to go to home of some woman beaten beyond recognition by her drunk husband I'll call you. Then you can sit there and agree with her husband that even Jesus provided wine for those to get drunk. (cause every drunk jumps on that, they know nothing else of the Bible other than Jesus created wine, but they have been feed that ammunition and boy do they use it) and while your there you can explain to her and her children that alcohol is worth defending. Getting a little tired of all you ammunition bearers! EdB |
