Bible Note: Hello Robert: You are right and true in what you have said and you have a wonderful way of sticking to the facts and supporting them. The parables that you referred to of the Wheat and the Tares is a good example (The Wicked and the Righteous-Through God's Mercy)will be side-by-side until the end. Another example that comes to mind is that the rain shall fall upon the Just and the unjust alike for God does take care of the basic needs of both (He is a fair God). However, in the end, what you store your treasure up to be, shall be your just rewards. The question is where are your treasures? In Man and things, or of God and His Everlasting promises to those who truely Love and accept him, knowing the true depth of all that he has done for us. You are right, he does not take back his promises to us. That is why he sent his Son in our place...so that we may be able to stand before our Heavenly Father, who knows all of our shortcomings and has indeed overcome the world for us. No matter how far the fall, becasue yes we all do fall (weather we be at the top of that ladder, or only on the botton step)there is no place that God cannot reach us. In the latter days, even the elect can be easily fooled, we have been warned of this and so much more. That is when we need to turn to our true source (His word)..his living Word (called that for a very good reason) it brings us life, wisdom, courage, strength and most important of all the absolute truth. We also have the Holy Spirit to guide us on the truth. That was Christ's promise. That he shall go away, but we will not be left alone (To us he leaves the comforter) to dwell in us and be our constant guide. I seek great comfort in this and have personally seen the Holy Spirit at work in my life. I too am secure in him. Peace unto you. |
