Bible Note: Greetings Paul! While it would be great if everyone would accept Christ, Scripture makes it clear that this will not happen. Consider the following passages: 1) Mt. 7:13 - "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. " 2) Mt. 7:21 - " ‘‘Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’" These two passage make it clear that some will not be saved. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
