Bible Question:
I know I read in the bible about how God will judge those you live by the world laws who don't know Jesus Christ and those who know Jesus Christ and are held by those laws. I can't find it again. That explained to me how Christ died for all and sins of all mankind were forgiven. What I read also explained that those not taught about Jesus Christ can also get to Heaven. Where did I read this or did I read this in another book and it is not in the bible? In Christ's name, Kim |
Bible Answer: 2 Corinthinans 5:15 "...And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again." There are other scriptures that say that Christ has died for all men and that his death is for all mens sins, but, "..all men have not faith" (2 Thessalonians 3:2). But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) It is most important to realize that we must make sure that we are born of God by believing in His Son Jesus and have forgiveness and a living relationship with Him. He then can help us see how we can best help all other men/women see and believe in Jesus to become a partaker of His wonderful gift. |
