Bible Note: 1 John 2:24 "If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye shall also continue in the Son, and in the Father." That word "continue" seems to me to denote a perpetual growth towards perfection just from the way the text is worded if nothing else. Are we not commanded to grow into all righteousness? Ps. 92:12.
