Subject: Are miracles for today? |
Bible Note: survivor Your absolutely right. When you base your belief on miracles your really not using faith but head knowledge. Your believing in what you saw. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. This is a real problem for many that base their belief in what they have seen. When they really need faith to see them through they don't have it to draw upon. We see this alot today, people have based their believe in the miracles, signs and wonders. When their belief is in what they have seen, they have remained locked into head or sense knowledge. They believe what they have seen, experienced, or heard instead of faith or spirit knowledge. Then in their darkest hour of the night when they must call upon a faith based relationship with Jesus they find they have never established it. They become confused, lost and discouraged and many turn away. They are sure God has failed them. I have spend many gut wrenching hours with just these types of people, usually in the hospital but also in funeral homes. EdB |
