Subject: Are miracles for today? |
Bible Note: Reighnskye You asked, “What I was specifically referring to was the present day existence of "supernatural" miracles such as bodily resurrections, walking on water, pulling fire from the sky or ascending into the clouds.” To say no or yes would be putting God in a Box. God can do as He pleases. However if one of these do occur the Glory better go to God or you know it is counterfeit. I’m told have been bodily resurrections in very recent history. But my question is what effect does it have? 99.9999 percent of the people would not believe it if it happened before them. Miracles are not really effective in influencing people. Look at the Children of Israel, they walked through the Red Sea on “dry “ land with water walled up on either side. And three days later they are questioning if God was really in their Exodus. EdB |
