AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 1:20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense. Subject: salvation for unbelievers? |
Bible Note: God's day to you, bpetersen5, and welcome to the SBF, I like this section of Romans to see those who have never heard don't have any excuse and are bound for Hell. There are some who believe and how God handles them, as well as babies, young children and those who never acheived mental assent ... is a mystery known only to Him. It is interesting that he thinks all are bound for Hell ... and not a better place. John 3:16-17 comes to mind, as well as Acts 16:30-31, Romans 3:21-28 (v 23), Romans 6:19-23 (v 23). Look at the context of the verses. There are others. Most important let your life prove it. Say "If I am wrong, there is no big loss. I followed a great Teacher and His Word. If you are wrong, you will be lost forever". Without His (death and) ressurection all we say and our faith is in vain (1 Cor 15:14). Searcher |
