AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 1:20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense. [Ps 19:1-4; Eph 2:10] |
Bible Question: several ministers thru the years have told me that God and the scriptures made provision for those who never had the chance to hear the good news (see original question) but I never asked them WHERE in the bible this was found. Romans 8:38,9 seems to speak to this. Certainly God wouldn't condemn a child in China who has never had the opportunity to be exposed to religion to a life in Hell just because of the place of his birth,or would HE? |
Bible Answer: The question you ask is a large debate in the Christian community. You will find from the extreme Universalism that everyone who lives will eventually be in heaven all the way to the extreme dogmatic who believes that anyone not in their denomination will not go to heaven. The Scriptures deal with how mankind can draw near to a Holy God. They generally do not deal with this hypothetical question straight on. One comes to conclusions based on inferences. One thing we can be certain of is that God is holy AND just and will deal with each person according to His character and purpose. Why does this specific question interest you at this time? MJH |
