Bible Note: Scripture ... Acts 10:43-48 - Rom 8:9, Gal 4:6, Eph 1:12-13 ... They received the Holy Ghost before ever being baptized outwardly (Acts 10:44-48). A person receives the Holy Ghost, a mark of salvation (Rom 8:9, Gal 4:6, Eph 1:12-13). The reason for the request water for baptism is to show outwarldy of an inner change. If "The Holy Spirit falling on Cornelius was God showing He was for even Gentiles" ... than why did He wait until Peter started to talk? No, Holy Spirit falling on Cornelius and company was to show to Peter and the Jews they were saved. Read the posts for Acts 10:48. |
