Bible Note: Brad, Rowdy directed you to his post to me, #111393. If you can find that in it he answered your questions or mine, please let me know. I've read the post twice and fail to see anything in it but artful dodges and evasions. But perhaps it's I who needs instruction in how to discern meaning from the printed page, even when there may be no real meaning implied or intended. Be a sport. Help me, Brad! Tell me what Rowdy said. And try to make it simple for me. You see, Rowdy talks way over my head. I have no earthly idea, for instance, of what his theological meaning is when he says, "Better be safe than sorry" and even less of what it means to "approach Bible study philosophically." So, lend me a hand. I don't want to miss out on these pearls our friend has cast before me. After all, philosophically speaking, it's better to be safe than sorry. --Hank |
