Bible Note: Greetings Rowdy! You raise some interesting points. I think it would be good for us to remember that we don't know anything about the relationship between Mary and her children, or between Jesus and His siblings. We do know that His brother James became a leader in the church after the death of Jesus, but we nothing about before that time.
