Bible Question (short): Disciple Jesus Loved |
Question (full): In John 19:26-27 it says, "When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your son" and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that time on this disciple took her into his home." Who is the disciple he is talking to here? Is it Peter, who is known as the disciple Jesus loved? If I remember correct, in the movie "The Passion of the Christ" it shows James as the disciple. If I am wrong about that let me know. |
