Subject: Do you forgive Judas? |
Bible Note: I would have to say that I forgive Judas also. I have to because that is something that Jesus taught us to do. With his betrayal, That incident sparked the centurion and possibly other doubters to believe that Jesus was(is) the son of God. Not only that but Jesus saved us.I'm happy you asked this question because I was reading in Matt.19:28 and Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed Me in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of His glory ye shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribles of Israel. .... Was he talking about "the twelve?" and if so Jesus knew then that Judas was going to betray him yet his still including him to judge the twelve tribes of Israel in heaven which mean he had already forgiven him for what he was going to do..... that's deep. Maybe I read too much into that verse.... maybe not. So if Jesus forgave him, why can't we? |
