Bible Note: Jeff W:I too at some time ago assumed what I was taught on pre-trib position. However, I will not argue my position, but rather feed back what Jesus said. My understanding og what Jesus said is we are to be ready. Jesus tells us in Matthew that many things will happen, but He tells us when we see these alarming things happen the time is not yet. My understanding is that Jesus told us that bad times will come before he returns. Such as the 24,000 people killed two days ago. It makes no difference what we think about the second comming of Jesus, as the only one who knows for sure is the HOLY FATHER. When Jesus comes we are repeatedly told to be ready, that is what is the key to the second coming of Christ. Jeff would you not agree? We are told by Paul for each of to be able to give the reason we believe what we do. What we think about Christ's return is based on our understanding on Scripture, not on Darby's theory from 1830. Some churches are so adomint on a pre-trib rapture, that they believe unless you believe the same you are not saved. One such pastor is John Hagee, of Corner Stone Church in Texas. Hagee has twisted Scripture way beyond what is Orthodox Christianity, in my opinion. close to. Any thoughts? Blessings Jeff. Justme |
