Bible Note: Shalom Keliy, Could it be that the adulterous woman was not condemned because Messiah was following Torah? Torah required at least two witnesses (Deut. 17:6) to speak up and then those two witnesses would be the first to throw the stones (Deut. 17:7) . Notice, no one spoke up after He asked them of their position before God concerning their own sin. Messiah could not condemn her Himself, He was not an eye witness to the act. And even though He probably knew she was guilty, Torah also states that the death penalty would not be invoked on the testimony of just one witness (Deut. 19:15).
