Bible Question (short): The Blind leading the blind |
Question (full): In Matt 15 1-22, Jesus called the Pharisees hypocrites, the blind leading the blind, because they continued God's command of wahsing hands before eating, but changed God's command of death to a rebellious child. How could the Pharisees be wrong about washing hands? And how could they be wrong about changing that hedious penalty of death to a rebellious child? How could Jesus be critical of the tradition of washing hands before eating and then insinuate that the command of death should still be valid? |
