Bible Note: Hi graceful, I hope that disciplerami won't mind me asking you a question that has nothing to do about this thread and his question. I want to ask you about the use of your slash in the post here. I do the same thing sometimes and my question is "What is the relationship between the combined words?" For instance, I use the slash when I talk about the God/Man. I think of Jesus always as a Man, being in the form of God; although He was also a Man being in the likeness of men. Please note my capitalization. So, what I am leading to is that I use the slash mark to always combine Deity; God/Man. In your profile you use Son/Word. I would say Holy Spirit/Teacher rather than your "Holy Spirit/teacher and power of God in me to serve." Again, I am only talking about capitalization. You have written an excellent profile, but I am only asking a question. Do you think that we should link (unequally yoke?) Deity with attributes, for instance? Word/truth for instance? Personally, I would type Word/Truth and say the the Scriptures are word/truth. What are your thoughts? Sorry for a somewhat wierd question. From the heart, Ray |
