AMPLIFIED 2015 | Mark 10:21 Looking at him, Jesus felt a love (high regard, compassion) for him, and He said to him, "You lack one thing: go and sell all your property and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have [abundant] treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me [becoming My disciple, believing and trusting in Me and walking the same path of life that I walk]." |

Bible Note: Hi pako, How do you explain the missionary, Jim Elliot? He was killed for his faith in South America by the Aucan Indians. Did he lack faith? Were divine health and prosperity not his? What of Joni Erickson Tada? Does she lack faith? Or, is she being used- by God- despite her infirmity and glorifying Him still the same? My own mother- who was a believer in the Lord Jesus- died at age 47 due to complications from a surgery for a brain tumor. Did she lack faith? Was divine health not hers? The gospel you proclaim does not meet with real life experiences (Empirical evidence) , nor the historical, orthodox test of time. In other words, it is not Biblical!
