Subject: Bible's view on suicide? |
Bible Note: Greetings EdB! I would counsel much as you just said as well my friend. And, I certainly don't believe in 'once saved, always saved' as my many posts indicate! :-) Nor, would I defend suicide. At the very least, it is robbing God of the right to minister through one's life to others. My concern was not to defend suicide as an option, but to defend against broad dogmatic statements that lack Scriptural support. While I would not advise someone to commit suicide, nor would I tell someone whose loved one had commited suicide that they are definitly now burning in Hell. Well, I've work to do now!
