Subject: Bible's view on suicide? |
Bible Note: I believe that Justme has hit the nail on the head. We are either saved by grace or saved by works. Is one sin worse than another? Certainly God wants us to live in victory but we don't always do that. Do I walk outside of God's will if I suicide? Absolutely! Do I walk outside of God's will if I lie? Absolutely! "The branch in me that does not bear fruit the Father takes away" John 15. Suicide is part of a fruitless life, as other kinds of fruit-less-ness. I tried to commit suicide many times when I was in my teens. I was manic and depressive, until one day when my body chemistry corrected and that all went away. They were very dark days, Jesus treated me with love, even miraculously preserving my life. Nothing shall separate us from the love of God! |
