Subject: Does the OT talk about resurrection? |
Bible Note: Greetings CDBJ! If there is a causual relationship betweent the first and second sentences. I don't know Hebrew well enough to determine that. However, it also looks possible (even more likely) that the first sentence is associated with third sentence where it is said the people will be delievered. The reason I say more likely is because of the number of times the word is used in Daniel. If 'amad' were only used 1, then we could say that maybe it is being used in an unusual way from the rest of the OT. However, it is used over 30 times in Daniel alone and none of those uses support the idea of 'amad' meaning to 'leave' or 'stop restraing'. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
