Subject: Does the OT talk about resurrection? |
Bible Note: II Thess. 2:7 has always been a much-debated subject. Many have said that it is in ref. to the restraining work of the Church in the World, but the gender is in the masculine form. The Church is always in the feminine gender, so that didn’t fit. Still there were others who say that 2:7 must be talking about the Holy Spirit. The word he, is in the small case, besides how can God, who is all-present, be removed? When Dan. 12:1 was pointed out to me, and the fact of what it say in the last part of the verse, it fit perfectly. This is also what Christ said was going to happen in the last days in Matt. Chap. 24. Rev. 13:7 shows that Antichrist is given permission to make war with the Saints, and in order to do this the protector had to be removed. This will cause a great many, so-called believers to fall away, when Satan is cast down to Earth and his wrath, knowing that he has but three and a half years left, is pointed toward God’s elect. Thus we have the great apostasy that must come first before Christ return. CDBJ |
