Bible Answer: Dear mnustlt, No, once a person is saved, salvation cannot be lost . However, no one knows who is truly saved and who is not. I cannot see into your heart and you cannot see into mine. Many believe they are saved, and even look like they are saved, but they are not (see Matt 7:22-23 and Luke 8:13-14). Believers and unbelievers live side by side at this time (see the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13). One thing we know for certain, and that is that those who persevere are saved (John 10:28, 29; Rom 11:29; Phil 1:6; 1 Peter 1:5).
