Bible Note: Hello Jonp; I for one, can indeed see how God could graciously want to include his angelic host and let them in on his plans, so to speak. I see nothing wrong with that, and, I can see the logic in your well thought through analogy of what God was saying, and, to whom he was saying it, and why. And, what He was doing and why. The way you put it , it makes a lot of sense to me and I can except it on those terms. I am of the opinion however that the word is a little more simple then that; sort of like me. I like the way an old preacher put it, maybe you have heard this one. "God don't put the cookies on the top shelf were His kids cant reach them." Not every one is as bright as you Jon, and I am not being facetious please believe me. And I know that you will agree that the Bible is a book that speaks to mans heart like no other book can; as it is the living word of God, speaking to the heart of the simple, as well as to the wise. Having said that I should say that I would lean more to the other view. I still see nothing that I could very successfully argue against your view. perhaps this is one area that we can see from both sides, and maybe get an even better perspective, as I don't think this is an issue, or an area that we should be dogmatic about. And I am not saying that you are. That was for the benefit of any that may be listening. I am not being a fence walker or a liberal ether; you will find that obvious as we get to Know one another better. God's peace Jonp. stj |
